Hams Hall A – Control Room

Hams Hall `A’ Control Room was situated with windows overlooking the Turbine Hall and located on the outer side of the turbine building. It was a huge control room with large black slate panels and had ships telegraphs to send the required load to the turbine operators. It was purely an Electrical Control Room for communicating the required loadings for Boilers and Turbines to the operators, synchronising and desyncing the generators and carrying out HV Switching.
