Drakelow A had four ICL PF fired Boilers each linked to it’s associated turbine in a unit system.
The boilers operated at 1550psi, (106.9 bar) 1060deg F (571deg C) & produced steam at 515,000lb/hour (233,600kg/hour)
Each boiler had corner fired tilting burners and four Lopulco suction Mills.
